Bumper Protection Commonly Asked Questions
(1) Can I drive with the Bumper Bully attached?
No, never operate a vehicle with the Bumper Bully hanging from the bumper. The product may come off while driving causing injury. Return the product to vehicle’s trunk prior to leaving a parking garage. Please read product disclaimer and all instructions before using.
(2) Is the Bumper Bully weather proof?
Yes, the bumper bully was designed for outdoor parking. It may also be used in indoor parking garages and valet parking garages.
(3) Will the Bumper Bully protect my car bumper from damage?
The Bumper Bully may protect the bumper finish only. It may not protect your bumper from impacts greater than 1MPH. The product may help minimize the risk of scratches, the result of low impact parking maneuvers. The Bumper Bully is not a structural component and will not contribute to vehicle crashworthiness or occupant safety during rear end collisions.
(4) Will the bumper bully (bumper protector) fit my vehicle? Are there exceptions?
The product will fit most vehicles. Exceptions are rear engine vehicles. Straps should never be placed in an engine compartment, as it may come in contact will moving parts, resulting in damage and injury.
(5) How do I clean and care for my bumper protector?
It is a good idea to regularly clean and wash the back side of the product - it should always be free of dirt and debris. A mild soap and water is okay. You can also use a damp towel.
(6) How do I store my new bumper protector?
To keep the Bumper Bully looking its best store it flat in your trunk. Do not store folded as the rubber may crease.
(7) How do I attach my bumper protector?
Refer to the instructions on the box or the instructions link.
(8) What should I do, the Velcro straps do not stick to my trunk carpet?
The Velcro on the straps ends may not stick to all carpet types. If this happens you can use extra 2
Velcro tabs provided. The extra sticky tabs will not stick to carpet - you need to find a smooth, hard surface. Alternatively, if there is a spare tire compartment you can drop the straps into the compartment and lower the lid on the straps. The weight of the lid will sometimes be enough to hold the straps.
(9) What is the return policy? and return protocol?
If not satisfied with the purchase, you may return the product for a refund within 15 days of receipt, minus initial shipping cost. Also buyer is responsible for return shipping. resalable condition. Damaged or dirty products will not be refunded.
(10) When will my bumper guard arrive? What shipping carrier do you use?
Orders are usually processed the same or the following business day. We ship using UPS ground. Delivery time may vary depending on location. For NY and tri-state area 1-3 business days.

(11) Can my vehicle pass through a Car Wash with the Bumper Bully bumper guard attached?
No. Never pass a vehicle through a car wash with the Bumper Bully attached outside your vehicle. Doing so, may result in damage to your vehicle and product. If the car wash attendant washes the product for you, make sure they place the BumperBully inside the trunk before passing vehicle into the car wash.
(12) How often should I clean my BumperBullybumper guard?
Clean the BumperBully frequently to prevent dirt and debris from accumulating on the surface. A bucket of warm water, car wash soap and a soft car wash brush will make cleaning your BumperBully super easy and quick. (13) How do I care for my Bumper Bully bumper guard?
The Bumper Bully bumper guard should be washed regularly, even if you use just use water and a car soft wash brush to clean the surface. A supersoft car wash brush (~$5 at Walmart) will help you clean the bumper guard quickly and easily. Many car washes will rinse of the product for free or for a small tip (its your responsibility to make sure car wash attendant replaces product into trunk before proceeding through car wash). To prevent damage to your vehicle never pass through a car wash a with bumper guard outside vehicle.

(14) Is regular washing necessary?
Absolutely, for best results we recommend that you regularly wash the BumperBully. “You would not wash your car with a dirty wash mitt, similarly you should not place a filthy product on your bumper….just common sense.” You should also regularly clean the bumper surface of salt, dirt and debris. FOR BEST RESULTS…WE RECOMMEND THAT YOU REGULARLY CLEAN the BumperBully using water (you can also mix in some mild car wash soap).
